Sunday 14th June - Portslade U14 Sixes
Henfield took an U14 side to Portslade for a six-a-side tournament, and given that all bar two players were U13 and some of the opposition players were six foot three!, everybody played very well indeed and the team can be very pleased. We lost all four games in a round-robin double-header with Keymer & Hassocks and Portslade, but in two games we were only beaten with two balls to spare. Everyone contributed, but the highlights were Dan Stokes's 24 from one over in Game 1 and an unbroken partnership of 67 by Dan and Jake Fieldsend in Game 3. Well done to all and thanks to the everyone who supported the team through a pleasant but long day.
