'Cobra Beer Foundation' Event, Little India
Henfield Cricket Club sponsors 'Little India' are hosting an evening at the restaurant for the ‘Cobra Beer Foundation’ to raise money to provide clean water to families in small villages in Bangladesh and India on Sunday 24th June.
All cricket club members and friends are invited to support our sponsors.
On the evening there will be a buffet at £5.00 per head, and each person will get 5x raffle tickets with fantastic prizes to be won; such as meals for two, boxes of Cobra Beer, Vintage Cobra Beer glasses, discounts, King Cobra Beer and more. Each £5.00 will be able help one family with being provided with clean water for the entire summer. We will have great deals on Cobra beer on the night to with each bottle sold; you will also be helping the foundation raise money for the fantastic cause. I would like to point out that you don’t have to just buy Cobra beer; we will have your normal drinks still available at the bar.
We are aware that there is a Euro2012 game on at 7:45pm, we start of just after 6pm, but we will have the game on the screen so people can watch, if its only for the first half, but we will screen the entire game.
Bike Ride for Smithy
On 17 June 2012 Peter Boyce, Kevin Thorns, Rob Slaughter and Rob Peckham will be cycling 56 miles from Clapham Common to Brighton beach in aid of the British Heart Foundation. We will be doing this in memory of our good friend Mark Smith, who we lost suddenly last year.
This is a very worthy cause and all donations are greatly appreciated. There is a sponsorship form up in the pavilion now.

Cricket - A New Season is here
Senior cricket starts this weekend with two away games on Saturday and the first home game on Sunday. Remember to let the captains know if you are available. The availability book will be in the Pavilion from Wednesday onwards.
Wednesday is also the day senior training starts. Training will take place every Wednesday from 6pm on the Common.
Junior cricket has already started with a fine crowd on show on the Common yesterday despite the chilly breeze. The Under 11s scored a narrow loss to Lewes Priory by just 16 runs.
