Last updated 10th September 2007 - Final table and congratulations to Nigel Colgate for winning this year!

Following its success in 2006, we are again running a boundaries league in 2007.

The principle is that players are ranked according to the number of fours and sixes that they hit throughout the season, divided by the number of games they play. Sixes count double. So, for example, 20 fours and 10 sixes in 10 games equates to a ranking (or average) of 4.00

The first "season" will finish at the end of May, when promotion and relegation will take place. Players no longer with the club remain in the league for the first month, when they are relegated out of the league.

For promotion/relegation purposes, where the scores are the same, the player with the greater number of innings is deemed to finish higher.

Please note: the table will be based upon fully completed scorebooks. If the scorebook is not completed then even a 45-ball century will score a big zero.

All players will participate, including colts and women. As this is an average-based ranking, the number of games you play does not matter. You can play one game and still win. Not-outs don't benefit you in the slightest; this isn't the batting cup.
