White Hart Boundaries League 2008

Download Boundary League table here ...Latest update 30th June.

The 2008 Boundary League is off and running...

The principle is that players are ranked according to the number of fours and sixes that they hit throughout the season, divided by the number of games they play. Sixes count double. So, for example, 20 fours and 10 sixes in 10 games equates to a ranking (or average) of 4.00

Last year we had a series of league tables with promotion and relegation. This year we're reverting back to a single table.

Please note: the table will be based upon fully completed scorebooks. If the scorebook is not completed then even a 45-ball century will score a big zero.

All players will participate, including colts and women. As this is an average-based ranking, the number of games you play does not matter beyond a minimum of five innings to win the cup. The only exception to this is the Women's 1st XI, who can win having played just one due to their limited number of fixtures. Not-outs don't benefit you in the slightest; this isn't the batting cup.
