Henfield Cricket Club have decided to revive a successful fund-raising initiative that Conway Thorns led for several years.

Like all voluntary organisations the cost of providing the facilities needed to run a successful club continues to increase. In the 1970’s the Club started this draw to involve the wider Henfield community to support it in raising much needed funds while giving those who participated the opportunity to win one of three prizes each year.

This year each ticket (limited of 200 to be sold) will cost £20 with all the profit going to Henfield Cricket Club for the continuing development of cricket within the village.

The draw will take place in September at the last game of the season played on the Common. The first prize will be 10% of the money received (a potential of up to £400), the second prize 5% (up to £200) and the third 2.5%. (up to £100).

Martin Secrett, (a new member of the Committee) has agreed to take on the organisation of the draw this year.

I hope you will agree to be part of this initiative, please fill in the form on this page and return as detailed. Henfield Cricket Club looks forward to receiving your support and both thanks you in advance and wishes you luck for a win.
